TAKE NOTICE that a "Public Hearing" ON PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF RUTLAND

Is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget for the Town Of Rutland in Jefferson County NY for fiscal year beginning January 1, 2024, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk where it is available for inspection by any interested person during business hours. Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of said Town will hold a Public hearing at 7:35pm on October 12, 2023, at the Town of Rutland Office Building on NYS RT 126 and at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against the Preliminary Budget as complied or any items there in contained. Further notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 113 of the Town Law that the following are proposed salaries of the Town Offices of the Town of Rutland.

Water District Rates for 2024:

$34.00 Per Quarter Operations & Maintenance; $5.20 per 1,000 gallons of water used.

TAKE NOTICE that a "Public Hearing" for the Town Of Rutland 2024 Preliminary Sewer Rates will be held October 12, 2023, at 7:45pm at the Rutland Municipal Office located at 28411 NYS Route 126 for the purpose of receiving Public comment on the following:

Sewer District Rates for 2024:

$289.00 EDU Capital Charge

$ 67.50 per Quarter Operations & Maintenance plus penalties, extra usage fees, and connection fees.

Fees: $15.00 punch card for five 30 gallon bags of trash. Punch cards may be purchased at the town clerk’s office or at the transfer site (Transfer Site only accepts checks or money orders).
